Entertaining and event planning expert Allison Sargent is featured in the November/December 2008 issue of Park Place Magazine.
Achieving the right scene is something to focus on early in the season—with or without the help of outside experts. And keeping it simple and low-maintenance enough that it can last through New Year's Day means the house is ready for whoever walks through the door.
”We make sure the event is very much a reflection of you, but without you having to wade through every step of the process,” Sargent says. ". “Details do matter but you need to be able to see them. It sounds cliche, but aim for quality, not quantity.”

Allison Sargent Featured in Montclair Magazine
Allison Sargent was featured in the May issue of Montclair Magazine in an article entitled, “Let Her Entertain You”. The eight page article features a Mother’s Day dinner and brunch complete with stunning photography detailing the work of Allison Sargent Events. According to the article, “the layman might interpret ‘details’ as extra Mylar balloons and a clever Evite. But when this professional sets the scene for a corporate function, wedding or private party, she fine-tunes the experience down to using the same fabric on the invitation and napkin rings, and matching the stemware to correspond with the lighting fixtures”. According to Sargent “Presentation is everything. It should be pleasing to the eye and beautifully presented.”
